A woman that I know is desperately looking for love…..so much so that she is hooking up with the soldiers on the military base that she works at. so she obliged him……and she had some mind blowing, backbreaking, steamy sex with dude who was due to leave for Atlanta in 2 days……Now what she expected next is beyond me…..he never called again…..and she asked me WHY?

I WAS LIKE HUH? WHAT DO YOU MEAN? HE WAS LOOKING FOR A HITER QUITER & YOU WERE IT……no really I was like I told you not to make him your first experience after not having someone for so long…..I mean its human nature to get caught up in the moment so why even put yourself through that…….well now she is sexing every pretty young thing in sight……trying to find that one to rock her world like ole boy……

Crap like this is why I only have a handful of female friends…..

Common breathes a fresh breath on the rap game.

I always feel connected w/ his lyrics so much so that I often feel as though he is speaking directly to me……especially in the song Black Maybe.

A snippet from Black Maybe:
You get judged.….you get laughed at.…..you get looked at wrong…..you get cited for not being strong….…the struggle of just being you….the struggle of just being us…...black maybe……

Common’s flow is awesome and on point so on this disk he delivers more of the good music we have grown used to from him…..he spits the real that most rappers run from.
The beats are on point but I feel as if Kanye held back a little on this CD maybe it’s because he was saving the beats for his up and coming album (I’m such a cynic).

My fav song on the CD by far is Drivin’ Me Wild feat. Lily Allen, and my favorite line goes like “Love is not a mystery, it’s everything”. Awesome!

Okay I should mention that I am a bit biased because I am a huge fan of Common but who gives a lovely because it’s my blog and I do what I want.

O && one question----Are all the conscience rappers from Chi-town? Im jus sayin
